French President Emmanuel Macron posts AI-made one-minute video on his SNS

French President Emmanuel Macron has edited and released AI parody videos featuring him on social media to promote the 3rd Artificial Intelligence (AI) International Summit in Paris for two days from the 10th.

President Macron posted a one-minute video on his Instagram account on the 9th.

So far, netizens have edited fake videos made using AI, showing President Macron transforming into the main characters of French comedy movies in the past, MacGyver, DJ, singer, hair influencer, etc.

President Macron, who appeared at the end of these videos, responded, “It was pretty well made. It was really funny.”

“But more seriously, we can do great things to transform healthcare, energy and society through AI,” Macron said. “So France and Europe must stand at the center of this revolution, seize every opportunity and push the principles we believe in.”

“This is the goal of this AI summit in Paris,” he said.

In the video, more than 85,000 people clicked Like.

In an interview with TF1 this evening, President Macron said, “We will invest 190 billion euros in AI over the next few years.”

President Macron stressed that the investment is “similar” to the $500 billion the U.S. announced to invest in the AI project “Stargate” for France.
