Herald inks partnership with Korea Green Building Council

Korean media and lifestyle company Herald Corp. signed an agreement with the Korean arm of World Green Building Council on Tuesday to jointly promote eco-friendly buildings.

“Together, we hope to introduce more Koreans to the concept of green buildings,” Kim Hway-suh, chairman of Korea Green Building Council said at the signing ceremony held at the Herald Corp. headquarters in Seoul. “We are honored to work with Herald, a company that is spearheading an eco-friendly culture.”

Herald Corp. CEO Lee Young-man also said the two sides will collaborate on introducing more buildings that can help save both costs and energy.

KGBC is a nonprofit organization specializing in setting qualification standards for eco-friendly and low-energy buildings.

The organization also works to promote the positive effects of green buildings to local investors, realtors and construction firms.
