Capturing Experiences Through Video and Writing: A Record of Growth as a Student Reporter

During my time in the press corps, I produced videos every two weeks on current domestic issues. Summarizing topics within a short period and delivering the key points visually helped me strengthen my research and organizational skills. Repeatedly going through the editing process also allowed me to experiment with different styles of expression.

Beyond video production, I also gained experience in article writing. Unlike videos, writing required me to carefully shape logical structure and flow, which became another valuable learning process. Even in short articles, I came to realize how crucial accuracy and clarity are.

One of the most memorable projects was collaborating with brands. While covering a skincare brand, Costoc, and a seaweed brand, Myeongjang, I aimed to go beyond simple product introductions and instead convey the stories and messages behind the brands. This challenged me to think about how to identify points of interest that would engage readers.

This experience was a meaningful opportunity to work in both video and written formats. Meeting deadlines each time taught me responsibility, and the overall journey helped me build a solid foundation as a member of the press corps. Moving forward, I hope to create even better content based on what I have learned.
