Obscene content sharing makes up majority of complaints received by MCMC, says deputy minister

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 58 per cent or 1,631 of the 2,825 cases of misuse of communications services investigated by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) from 2009 to Tuesday (Feb 28) were for the offence of sharing obscene content, the Dewan Rakyat was told on Wednesday (March 1).
