This week’s top spot was “Paper House: Joint Economic Zone,” a remake of the Spanish drama “Paper House,” which was produced until season 5 on Netflix. It is a work that deals with an unprecedented incident involving genius strategists and eight robbers in the background of the Korean Peninsula just before unification.
The ‘House of Paper: Joint Economic Zone’ received global attention, ranking third in the global rankings in Netflix TV programming just one day after its release. Interest in remakes seems to be also high, as the original drama, “The House of Paper,” was Netflix’s long-running popular series. The story unfolds after controlling the Mint, which makes new currency in the joint economic zone ahead of the unification of South Korea and North Korea. It received attention because it was a remake of “Paper House,” which was popular, in a Korean version, but when it was aired, the solid composition and background developed so interestingly. So it ranked first in the cognitive OTT ranking.
