Abercrombie shares see record plunge as rising costs hurt US retailers

NEW YORK (BLOOMBERG) – Shares of Abercrombie & Fitch had their worst drop ever on Tuesday (May 24) after the apparel retailer reported a loss for its latest quarter and lowered its annual outlook as freight and raw-materials costs weighed on margins.
