Japan core consumer prices rise at fastest pace in nearly 2 years

TOKYO (REUTERS) – Japan’s core consumer prices rose 0.5 per cent in November from a year earlier, government data showed on Friday (Dec 24), marking the fastest pace of increase in nearly two years in a sign that the fallout from global commodity price inflation is broadening.
