Concerns surrounding ageing Housing Board flats are no longer deal-breakers as more buyers are shifting their perceptions in recent years. With fewer large-sized homes being built, and cost constraints persisting, many people are prioritising affordability and space requirements when purchasing a home.
For instance, a spacious 104-sqm four-room resale flat in Yishun Street 22 was sold for just $265,000 in July 2026, while a centrally located 64-sqm three-room resale flat in Toa Payoh was transacted at $288,000 a month earlier.
