The body of a newborn baby boy has been found on the grounds of a house in Tatebayashi, Gunma Prefecture.
According to police, a man called 110 at around 7 p.m. on Friday and said there was a small body on his property, TV Asahi reported.
Police rushed to the scene and found the body of a baby boy, believed to be only a few days old.
Police said an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
