Customer personal information leaked from global jewelry brand Tiffany & Co

Tiffany Korea announced unauthorized access by third parties to some customer information on its website on the 15th. It is observed that consumers’ complaints may be raised as a result of a series of information leakage accidents and price hikes.

According to the luxury industry on the 17th, Tiffany Korea announced on its website that “it was confirmed that an unauthorized third party accessed and obtained some customer information around May 13, 2025.” Information that may be leaked includes the customer’s name, postal address, email address, phone number, sales data, and internal customer number.

The company explained, “As soon as the accident was recognized, we started an investigation with an external security agency, and we are completing a report to the relevant regulatory agency and cooperating with the judicial agency.” “So far, we do not know that there has been any damage or suspicion of personal information abuse due to this leak,” he said, urging customers to pay attention to suspicious contacts.

The accident is an extension of the recent series of information leakage problems at some luxury companies. Earlier, customer information was leaked from Kering Group (Gucci, Balenciaga parent company) and many luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Cartier.

Tiffany raised prices on select products in February and June this year. Cartier and Louis Vuitton also raised prices several times this year.
