Summer part-time jobs are popular, especially among the MZ generation in the heat. A total of nearly 90,000 people are flocking to the “2025 Summer Alba Festa” event, which is underway by Job Korea and Albamon.
According to the industry on the 5th, 17,000 people applied for the recruitment of just two people for the “Chicken Bone Breeding Expert” event, which ended on the 3rd of this month. The response was so enthusiastic that it recorded a competition ratio of 8,500 to 1, reaching 460,000 cumulative views of the announcement.
The event is not an actual part-time job working at a chicken restaurant, but a virtual experience format. The two selected in the announcement, which was conducted in collaboration with Puradak, will be selected as “Chicken Bone Breeding Specialist” and “Chicken Bone Bar Albamon,” and will receive 1 million won a day and a voucher for a new Puradak product. Preferential conditions for hiring included phrases that make people laugh, such as those who are proud to be “knowing the taste of chicken,” those who enjoy chicken and beer after work, those who often hear “you eat very cheaply,” and those who eat chicken well are ideal. The winners will be announced on the 6th.
The events of “Watermelon Sea Bar Albamon” and “Seeded Watermelon Gourmet Researcher” held in June were also popular. The experiential part-time job, which collaborated with Ediya Coffee, attracted 61,000 people to recruit three people, and the cumulative number of views exceeded 300,000. It was not an actual work, but a method of tasting watermelon juice and posting reviews on SNS, but the daily compensation of 1 million won led to the success.
Earlier this month, 10,000 applicants also attended the “National Smell Bragging” event, which was collaborated with Lotte Hi-Mart. Two people who were selected as “Chew-nae-boss Crew Albamon” and “Chew-nae-nae-boss Researchers” experienced a flux mini dryer and received 1 million won in cash.
An official from Job Korea said, “More than 80,000 applicants were attracted in line with the increasing demand for part-time jobs during the summer vacation and holiday season,” adding, “The humorous announcement and 1 million won per day compensation are the result of reflecting the keen interest of the MZ generation.” He added, “We will continue to introduce events that will allow part-timers and job seekers to participate happily in the future.”
