Ness Paltrow is the ex – wife of coldplay vocalist Chris Martin.
On the 26th, Astronomer announced on its official social networking service (SNS) that it has selected Hollywood actor Gwyneth Paltrow as a promotional model and interim spokesperson.
“I’m here temporarily hired on behalf of more than 300 employees,” Paltrow said in the video released. “We’ve had a lot of questions in recent days, and I’ve been hoping to answer the most of them. Like, ‘Wow, what the hell is this?'”
“Astronomer is the best platform for executing Apache Airflow,” he said. “We can integrate data, machine learning, and AI experiences on a large scale. We are very happy that many people have become interested in data workflows.”
Asked how the company’s social media team will handle things, he said, “There are still seats left for our company’s event in September,” adding, “We will now focus on getting back to what we do best and showing breakthrough results to our customers.” He said, “Thank you for your interest in Astronomer.”
The video received great attention online as it has garnered more than 30 million views on X. Internet users said, “There is no better option than this,” “It turned crisis into an opportunity,” “It made its name known around the world without much money from the company’s perspective,” and “The PR team is doing a good job.”
Earlier, on the 16th of this month, the company’s CEO Andy Byron and CPO Christine Cabot were caught on camera hugging each other at the Coldplay concert in Boston, Massachusetts. The two quickly separated from each other and covered their faces, and Chris Martin, who saw the scene, joked, “The two are either cheating or very shy people.”
The scene spread quickly on social media and became an affair controversy. Byron is a married man with two children with his wife, and Cabot is a divorcee. The two resigned after the scandal erupted.
The incident also made Astronomer’s name known around the world. Astronomer is a data operating company founded in New York in 2018. It has more than 300 employees and an enterprise value of $1.3 billion.
