The video received an explosive response, recording more than 1.5 million views immediately after its publication.
On the 15th, Musk retweeted a video and article posted on his account “Teslaconomics” with the phrase “Watch what will happen if G-Dragon, the King of K-pop, appears in Korea in a Cybertruck” through his X account. The video showed G-Dragon appearing at the Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on June 13. He drew attention by appearing in a Tesla Cybertruck wrapped with the logo of his fashion brand “PEACEMINUSONE.”

In November last year, G-Dragon appeared at Incheon International Airport in a Cybertruck that had not yet been released in Korea, drawing keen attention. Maye Musk, Elon Musk’s mother and model and writer, also showed interest by retweeting a video of G-Dragon’s appearance in Cybertruck. Global entrepreneur and mother paid attention to K-pop artists’ moves at the same time.
G-Dragon’s agency, Galaxy Corporation, said, “It is considered very unusual for Elon Musk and May Musk to retweet a post that referred to G-Dragon as the ‘King of K-pop’ at the same time.”
