Amid the intensifying conflict between the U.S. and Canada due to U.S. President Donald Trump’s threat of tariffs, a beer named “THE PRESIDENTIAL PACK” has been released in Canada.
The McFoo Pack, which was launched by Mushead, Canada’s oldest and largest independent brewery, contains a total of 1,461 cans of lager beer with a capacity of 473 ml. It is priced at 3,490 Canadian dollars including taxes and deposits, and each can costs about 2.39 Canadian dollars.
The term “1461 cans” means to endure Trump by drinking one can a day during his four-year term in office. Only those living in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Ontario in Canada can purchase the cans. Currently, they are out of stock online.
“If there’s anything we’ve learned since the start of 2025, we need determination to withstand the next four years of political uncertainty,” said Karen Greig, marketing director at Moosehead. “The best way to spend the day is with true Canadian beer.”
“I can’t predict how the next four years will go, but I think President Lee’s pack will help,” he added. If the product becomes popular, it could also help the company’s sales, which are expected to hurt U.S. exports in the aftermath of Trump’s tariffs.
Since Trump’s term has already begun, if you open the pack and start drinking a can of it a day, you can drink it until March 2029 after Trump’s term ends. President Trump’s term ends in January 2029.
