On the 28th, the Hadong Tea Expo Organizing Committee (Chairman Park Wan-soo, Governor of Gyeongsangnam-do, Ha Seung-cheol, Governor of Hadong-gun) visited Changwon City to host the 2023 Hadong Tea Expo (5.4-6.3).
Park Ok-soon, secretary-general of the organizing committee, visited the first vice mayor of Changwon City, and suggested promoting the expo, including purchasing 3,000 tickets, holding various events during the expo, and installing an expo banner in the city’s civil service office.
Secretary-General Park said, “We are establishing a close cooperation system with all cities and counties in the province for the success of the Expo, and this event will contribute to revitalizing the local economy and tourism in Gyeongnam.”
In response, Deputy Mayor Ha said, “Changwon City will also actively contribute to the successful hosting of the expo, such as attracting visitors and promoting the expo,” and the Changwon City Government Employees’ Union also promised to actively participate.
Meanwhile, the 2023 Hadong Tea Expo, co-hosted by Gyeongsangnam-do and Hadong-gun and organized by the Hadong Tea Expo Organizing Committee, will be held in Gyeongnam, including Hadong Sports Park and Hadong Wild Tea Culture Festival, for 31 days from May 4 to June 3.
