
Hadong World Tea Expo Organizing Committee (Chairman Park Wan-soo, Governor of Gyeongsangnam-do, Ha Seung-cheol of Hadong-gun) announced on the 13th that it signed a business agreement with Gyeongsangnam-do Sports Council (Chairman Kim Oh-young) to host the 2023 Hadong World Tea Expo (May 4 to June 3).
The signing ceremony held at the meeting room of the Gyeongsangnam-do Sports Council was attended by Park Ok-soon, secretary-general of the Expo Organizing Committee, and Kim Oh-young, chairman of the Gyeongnam Sports Council, promising mutual cooperation and implementation of the agreement.

Chairman Kim said, “We hope that the Hadong World Tea Expo will be successfully held to serve as an opportunity for economic development in Gyeongsangnam-do,” and promised, “The Sports Council will also help to host the expo successfully by attracting various competitions and supporting performances.”
Secretary-General Park said, “We would like to thank all Yukhoe officials for their active interest and willingness to participate in the expo event in difficult times,” adding, “The organizing committee will do its best to make it a successful expo by developing various programs and preparing convenience facilities for visitors.”
Meanwhile, the 2023 Hadong World Tea Expo, the first government-approved international event in the tea field co-hosted by Gyeongnam and Hadong-gun and organized by the Hadong World Tea Expo Organizing Committee, will be held in Gyeongnam for 31 days from May 4 to June 3.
