Park Ok-soon, secretary-general of the Hadong World Tea Expo Organizing Committee (Chairman Park Wan-soo),
visited the Changwon City Council on the 20th to host the 2023 Hadong World Tea Expo (5.4~6.3), which will be held next year.
Secretary-General Park visited Changwon City Council Chairman Kim Yi-geun and proposed autonomous ticket purchases,
holding various events organized by the council in Hadong during the expo, and promoting the expo on the website of the parliament and related agencies, and Chairman Kim expressed his willingness to cooperate.
Secretary-General Park also asked for active cooperation from the council, saying,
“We look forward to establishing a close cooperation system with Changwon City Council and other city and county councils for the success of the expo,” and Chairman Kim promised, “The Changwon City Council will also actively contribute to the success of the expo.”
Meanwhile, the 2023 Hadong World Tea Expo is the first official international event approved by the government on the theme of tea in South Gyeongsang Province,
including Hadong Sports Park and Hadong Wild Tea Culture Festival, from May 4 to June 3 next year.
