Tesla posts record $4.5 billion quarterly profit but challenges loom

NEW YORK (NYTIMES) – Tesla said on Wednesday (April 20) that it made a US$3.3 billion (S$ 4.5 billion) profit in the first three months of the year, up from US$438 million a year earlier, and the biggest quarterly profit since the company’s creation.
