US regulator seizes $4.8 billion in Bitcoin stolen in Bitfinex hack

WASHINGTON (BLOOMBERG) – The U.S. seized about US$3.6 billion ($4.84 billion) in Bitcoin stolen during a 2016 hack of the Bitfinex currency exchange – the largest financial seizure ever – and arrested two people, the US Justice Department (DOJ) said.
