Maersk agrees to $4.9 billion all-cash deal to buy Hong Kong’s LF Logistics

COPENHAGEN (REUTERS) – Container shipping giant Maersk on Wednesday (Dec 22) agreed to buy Hong Kong-based LF Logistics for US$3.6 billion (S$4.9 billion) in an all-cash deal, as it seeks to expand beyond its core ocean freight business.
