HONG KONG (BLOOMBERG) – China’s yuan advanced to the strongest since May 2018, amid bets that the nation’s growth will remain strong on monetary stimulus and the new Covid variant won’t hamper global recovery. The onshore yuan gained as much as 0.2 per cent to 6.3515 per dollar, breaching a year-to-date high reached in May.
