Proposed changes to Accountants Act to enhance regulator’s oversight and audit quality

SINGAPORE (THE BUSINESS TIMES) – The Ministry of Finance (MOF) and the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (Acra) have announced long-awaited proposed amendments to Singapore’s Accountants Act aimed at enhancing the reach and oversight of the industry’s regulator.
